Global health Research Designs and Methods: in conversation with Professor Paul Garner

04 Sep 2019

Designed for undergraduate or graduate courses, Global Health Research: Designs and Methods is an online, open-access publication that aims to help students become better consumers of research and prepares them to contribute to global health research teams. The publication features an interview between Professor Paul Garner with Assistant Global Health Professor Eric Green, who discuss the impact of systematic reviews and Cochrane upon evidence-based medicine and evidence-informed guidelines.

In addition, the book uses a Cochrane Review of the effects of chemoprevention on malaria by Radeva-Petrova et al. (2014) as a learning example.

The book is publicly available at no cost and, whenever possible, uses open-access examples to demonstrate concepts.
